Stop and stare.

Stop and Stare
Shirt - Reclaimed Vintage/Urban Outfitters, T-shirt - Topshop Boutique,
Jeans - APC, Socks - Nike, Loafers - Topman.

A few weeks back I remember reading something my friend Harriett posted online. It was a social status about taking just ten minutes of her day to step out of the rat race and look around. Today I had the opportunity to sit, reflect and people watch, a luxury that it appears 'Londoners' don't get to appreciate. Life rushes by, a continual motion that sometimes runs away with us and it then surprises us how quickly things can go from good to bad from just a phone call or a conversation.

Today, I'm thankful I had the opportunity to sit, think and laugh with friends. These are the moments that allow the balance to tip and savoir moments of time.

To the Roof.

To the roof.
Jacket - Topman, High Neck - Zara, Denim - Monkee Genes and Topman Loafers.

It's time to welcome the Autumn. The nights are drawing longer, Halloween is fast approaching and I'm confronted daily by the 'Christmas' sign at Selfridges. This weekend, myself and the my Condé Nast double, Linda Odd, attended a party at Kensington Rooftop Gardens. Rooftop is by far one of the nicest venues in London. Colourful, vibrant, with a youthful atmosphere and 'bachelor-pad-decor', it never fails to delight me. After the weekend it's safe to say so far loving Autumn.

Celtic Heritage.

Celtic Heritage
Jacket - Zara, Kilt - Vintage, Boots & accessories - Topman.
This week in Condé Nast HQ, we had the pleasure of meeting global supermodel, Yasmin Le Bon.

The iconic model was everything I expected, she was witty, charming and full of life. She gave some great advice about the industry and making yourself known.

An inspirational talk that left me slightly impatient for more of what the industry has to offer. Recently I've realized sometimes I think too far into the future or worry about mistakes but I think the quote below sums it up.

"No matter how many mistakes you make or how slow you progress, you are still way ahead of everyone who isn’t trying."

To catch a Jellyfish.

To Catch a Jellyfish.
Coat by Vintage, Blazer by Zara, T-shirt by Uniqlo, Jeans by APC and accessories by Topman.

My first week at the Condé Nast has been awesome.
I'm finding it difficult to write my excitement down but I'm enjoying every moment and making the most out of each experience.

This week we have met some inspiring people such a former Jimmy Choo creative director, Tamara Mellon. We have such a diverse mix at the Condé Nast and it's been awesome to form friendships from all over.

Here's to the future...

"Adventure is out there."

Adventure is out there.

I’ve finally committed to my plans and I have relocated to London.
I’m moving to London to pursue work and studies with an established magazine brand which at the moment I can’t publicly online disclose the name of, but I do look forward to telling you.

Along with my change of scenery presents a change to MossProctor as you know it. The sole purpose of this website will remain to critique and discuss editorial throughout the fashion world, but we shall not just be exploring menswear but also ladies wear.
But the most exciting part for me is my updated Portfolio available to view at www.MossProctor.com. It is a project which I have become most proud of. It’s finally one destination where you and the rest of the world can witness the collection of my works, online and all in one area.
I also intend for this blog to become a somewhat diary, as with my new scenery and my updated diary, some of the events I’m going to be attending are just too exciting not to document.
I will be continuing my written articles for Matt and the MANSNAP’s team, a lot more frequently I hope, and will still be bringing the latest updates of designer brands and clothing!
There is plenty of change here and thank you for the continued support I’ve had whilst making this transition.
I look forward to hearing your thoughts and views on this new London adventure.
