Forward Thinking. "ETHOS feat Nick Bateman"

So, Christmas is done & dusted.

The stocking are back in the box and the contemplation of when to take down the tree is starting to sink in.

But with the New Year knocking at the door, my minds been focused on other things.

I don't usually get to excited about the New Year, just the night out the 31st usually gets me going. But this year something feels different. (Hopefully that’s a good sign!)

So while jotting down a few ideas to pop on the “Bucket list” I came across a new video by Justin Wu.

Guess Who's back? - WOW Club Launch.

 

Last night saw the return of a familiar face to Cardiff, better known throughout the gay scene.

As WOW Club opened it’s door for the first time.

Guests were treated to champagne & an eye-candy-buffet on entry. The club has now been revamped in the patriotic ‘WOW’ colours of orange & black, teamed with loud animal prints (including a Zebra print snug) & black and white tiled floor to compliment the white & black leathers.

The room was filled with commercial tracks from new and old. Which were mixed & mashed by resident DJ, DJ Craig.

Upstairs, the old ‘cabaret’ bar that Exit Club used to offer had been transformed into the ‘Boudoir’.

The room was darker than downstairs, large drapes were placed across the ceiling framing the chandeliers in a romantic gothic fashion.

The music was a bit heavier than downstairs. More of a tribal beat, dancing to old classics in house & dance which kept a full flowing dance floor throughout the night.

I would also like to mention what a great night was had, by not just myself but everyone who attended (Well, who I’ve spoken to anyway).

It was a great night to rebuild bonds that have been lost to the scene throughout the years.

'Friends & Lovers' an Ode to 2011.

I'm sorry I haven't posted for a while its been a chaotic few weeks of soirée's & hosting parties, all great fun & the perfect prep for the season to be jolly.

 
Tonight I helped my Dad put up his Christmas tree. And whilst popping on the baubles, slurping larger, it was probably the first time that the christmas spirit kicked in & it made me reflect on the last twelve months.
It's been such a crazy year, so much has happened, From Holidays to soriées.. Parties to Day trips, city tours and so many other memories.
