Everything we do is judged on the first 20 seconds of meeting us. They say never judge a book by its cover, but it’s a natural habit & a basic piece of human nature.
Maybe I was being shallow looking through this year’s highlight of the collected works at Fashion weeks from around the globe, I enjoyed many collections but one thing stood out for me.
Like a heavyweight-boxing match, the punchy set designs of Key players such as Chanel, Louis Vuitton & Dolce & Gabbana made knockouts throughout their heats of fashion weeks.
ROUND 1
The Romanticist – Louis Vuitton
Elegant, Parisian & Romantic. The set of Louis Vuitton fashion week show was the perfect homage to a Parisian spring. An assembly of fresh models wearing a collection of budding pastels in Soft lemons, mint greens, lavenders & blush pink completed the cut out floral image. Adoring Peter Pan collars with frilled edges complete knee length dress and Playsuits of Diamond patterns made great companions for shoes with monochrome edging.
ROUND 2
The Imagination – Chanel
We’ve travelled the natural wonders of the world from a good seat at the Chanel Show. We’ve been from Antarctic waters with icebergs, to at high altitude with the runway in a dormant volcano and this seasons adventure was to no less magnificent than its predecessors.
Our runway takes places at the bottom of the sea.
A land of pearl white shells, large coral beds & Florence Welch appearing from a Clam. There is no denying that the imagination and invention of Karl Lagerfeld will always keep him as a heavyweight contender in the industry. 
ROUND 3
The Strident – Dolce & Gabbana
Carnival, Macho & Loud. Three words I would use to summarize the catwalk of Dolce&Gabbana ss12 @ Milan Fashion Week.
The boys at Dolce&Gabbana unleashed their Carnival themed runway with its exquisitely bright lights, Large patterned displays with the added touch of the soundtrack ‘Hey Mambo Italino’
The collection exhumed summer sass, Crop tops filled colour filtered throughout as the collection made its way through the tropical bonanza to crochet dresses with OTT embellishments.
A confident runway show indeed and come on! Who doesn’t find confidence sexy..
