'Luke in Colour'
British boy, Luke Worrall
stars in the story ‘Luke in Colour’ for the new ‘A Place Called Youth’ issue Boys by Girls Magazine.
Photographed by Georgie Wileman, this editorial to me comes across just how I
picture Luke to be behind the camera. Chad Burton has done a
brilliant job on capturing the essence of Luke through the styling.
The shoot has that enrichment
of east London – American baseball jackets, an array of beanie hats and graphic
tees giving the shoot a good feel and believable touch.
The set is basic but
effective and the editing of the imagery is nicely understated. If anyone’s
been to brick lane recently it’s so easy to get swept up by the colour,
lifestyle and need to stand out.
Strong
modelling from Luke Worrall, effective photography from Goegrie Wileman and
empathetic styling from Chad Burton creating some refreshing Shoreditch
simplicity.
