So, I've graduated!
After a year of hardcore grafting, all night studies and countless mood boards I have reached the end of my diploma coming away with the highest honours I could achieve at the Condé Nast College Of Fashion & Design.
My graduation wasn't the only thing that cemented my acceptance into the Condé Nast family. I was named as 'Future Fashion Names' at Vogue.co.uk. Featuring a project I put together - 'The Final Frontier' - A GQ Style UK proposal. In addition to this I had the opportunity to pitch my project to Alexandra Shulman, editor of British Vogue and Jonathan Newhouse, president of Condé Nast International.
A honour like no other, I don't think I'm quite over the achievement (And neither is my mother who has paraded the link to all of her friends!)
For me personally, I hadn't imagined the idea of going back into education. After being bullied throughout high school, education didn't seem like my thing. I sat down and told myself I had one more opportunity to 'try something new' before settling into my retail management role and get something solid behind me.
Not only was I picked to attend but I also won a scholarship position, something which I am also very proud of!
Condé Nast has offered me a gate-way to my future, allowing me to explore subjects and discover areas where I am talented and tune those to my best ability.. Apart from educational benefits, the Condé Nast brand has provided me the skills to grow into a true gentleman and I graduate with some of the best friends I will have for life.
