A Religious Affair:
The Missionary.
Through
looking at recent men’s editorial religion seems to be an occurring trend as of
late. And to be honest, I couldn’t originally decide which shoot to put up, but
as soon as I came across this shoot I knew it would be the one.
This shoot is Feilpe
Hernandez by Ali Daniel titled: The Missionary.
The key
features that really appealed to me about this work were the set design and
styling. Styled by Victor Olmos & set designed by Pau
Garcia-Cubas, the collaboration of roles harmonizes to bring out a different
side to the ‘stereotypical’ religious shoots.
Backed with
bold colours of vibrant yellows, fun fuchsia & brash blues; the clothing’s religious
style colours clear to see, fashionable and fun. The use of designer brands to
tie in with the theme was well thought through & constructed.
A simple yet
ingenious notion brought together by four grafters (Ali Daniels, Victor
Olmos, Pau Garcia-Cubas & Claudia Gamino) who
understand their trade.
