MANSNAPS Launch Party.

MANSNAPS: The Launch.
On April 27th I attended the MANSNAPS Launch party at premium cocktail bar, 10ft Tall. The event was a great development in the continuing success story of MANSNAPS.

If you haven’t heard of Mansnaps, it’s the latest in Men’s fashion & styling written as a guide to appeal to all men of various ages & sizes. It doesn’t cater with designer clothing in mind but draw appeal to the whole high street.

I was greatly honoured when Matt Evans, creator of Mansnaps, asked me to join the team as ‘Luxury brand editor’ featuring articles on the latest in designer trends & runway. I was even more flattered when Matt asked me to direct a short sequence runway show during the launch party.

Finishing touches.

With lots of phone calls, emails and trips to London, Matt & myself finally completed our looks and styling for the show.

Taking consideration events happening around the UK at the moment, we chose our looks to be based around the Jubilee & the Olympics.
The first look, Rule Britannia, was based around the colours of Britain and the best of red, white & blue. Using high street stores such as H&M, Topman, Primark and a few others, we tried to get a variation of looks to fit the build and character of the models. Models walked to Lana Del Rey’s ‘National Anthem’.

The second look was ‘Sports Luxe’. Inspired by Café Del Mar & the Ibiza sunset, sports luxe was filtered through with rich colours such as orange, deep purple & marine teals which were touched up with essences of black. The models walked to the beat of Cassie ‘King of Hearts’.
