Maybe that was Karl Lagerfeld inspiration when he shots his muse, Baptiste Giabiconi for his latest editorial for Numéro Homme.
The shoot, in the style of a roman gladiator theme, plays on ancient armoury & modern pieces in a harmonious collabortation.
I like the idea and the concept and to me it comes across slightly fetish-esque. I think Baptiste was the right style of model to use, with his boyish charm & a young ‘Julius’ charisma, Karl brings us another classic.
