“I Love Americana”
Storm’s wonder boy, Simon Nessman, teams up with Chicago beauty, Karlie Kloss for the s/s12 campaign for Americana Manhasset.
The shoot takes on the ‘typical’ American family in the 60’s with Simon & Karlie taking on the role of the “Smith” family.
Each photo filled with expressive colours from aqua convertibles to eye popping swimwear.
Simon’s styling channels the era well, with masculine tailoring of sharp blazers combined with crisp-off-white chino’s & a coloured shoe.
Charles DeCaro, the creative director of the shoot, is a new name to me. But from the work I have seen for this shoot I’ve been left intrigued to see more.
