So the heatwave has departed & the true face of October shows herself. Her hard grey face of puffy cloud and occasional tears of heavy downpours bring us to the end of our Indian summer & bring us into jumper season.

Your 5-a-day to explore the autumnal menswear wardrobe.
It all begins with Stripes.
Monday, Monday and the week begins with a multi-stripe mohair jumper from MARC by Marc Jacobs from Liberty of London, as a recommend enhance the jumper colours with brown corduroy trousers by MHL by Margaret Howell. |
Ivory cashmere crew neck jumper speckled with black, red and purple flecks. It is worn with a simple white T-shirt by SUNSPEL.
Peek of your week and your ploughing on towards Friday. Think traditional creamy cable-knit Aran jumper. Originally aimed for the Hard working society & fishermen this jumper from PRINGLE OF SCOTLAND. Fantastic Man recommends a finishing the 'white winter look' with a button down shirt by J.LINDERBERG & a pair of white corduroy trousers by KOSTAS MURKURDIS.
My favourite look of the week. This boat neck jumper by COS makes the perfect sailing partner with this pale blue shirt by REISS. The jumper is relatively short in length but has a long ribbed waistband. In the image above Fantastic Man would recommend tucking it into SUNSPEL chinos.
Friday, end of the working week and there is no better way to end than with a piece by JIL SANDER. The jumper appears to be doubled but it's just one. FM says "The jumper is slightly cropped and rather straight, but not at all boxy, making it sit just on the waistband of the trouser."
I look forward to more work by the team at Fantastic Man Magazine.
Thank you for the images.
