'Desert Storm' | OUT Magazine
As you can see in our recent posts, we’re kicking off the spring
with a new attitude. But a pattern is emerging within this more ‘Frequent’
posting attitude. We appear to be showcasing some old MossProctor favourites! So,
keeping up this ‘Revamping the old and showcasing it new’ trend we have going…
It was only fitting to show you some work featuring Toby Leonard.
No stranger to MossProctor, every time this model reappears
in an editorial he goes from strength to strength.
We really like this editorial story, ‘Desert Storm’ for the
latest edition of OUT magazine. The story photographed by Bruno Staub and
styled by Grant Woolhead, showcasing the paler-palette-colours of spring/summer
with a military feel.
Strong styling from Grant Woolhead revamps beige tones (which
our more regular readers will know we featured as a post in April last year!)
making the colour scheme feel fresh and modernised ready for the summer of
spring/summer 13.
I really enjoy the art direction of this shoot as well. I
love the overall image editing which reflects the use of scenery greatly throughout
this shoot. Coming together through their usage of styling and photography,
Bruno and Grant create a shoot that feels light, fresh but doesn’t loose the
strength of that ‘Military’ persona and stands by the use of camouflage and the
strong features of Toby Leonard as their model.
All that is left to say is… Welcome back to MossProctor
